For the latest collaboration with Holly Faurot and Sarah H. Paulson, I've created a new instrument -The Jegogunk (Jeh-go-gunk).  Made entirely of metal, it's a series of tuned rods that can either be struck with a mallet or bowed.  It's resonator is a large curved piece of sheet metal affixed to the front.

The Jegogunk is paritally inspired by the Balinese instrument from which it derives its tuning. 

Come down to Grace Exhibition Space on Friday, July 3rd to hear a 4 hour improvisation using the Jegogunk as raw material for a computer created composition.
